This innovative young International Designer is the holder of the 2000 Rhea Award for Fashion Excellence. Having graduated from the East London College of Design (SA) she quickly gained popularity for exquisite bespoke designs and fantastic attention to detail.

Her flair and passion for fashion were recognised by a London couturier wedding gown designer and she worked in the industry in the UK, until by reputation and demand she launched her designs under her own label, Claire Catherine. Claire-Catherine spoke of her personal vision and philosophy.

“I know I am blessed with the skills of dressmaking, creative pattern cutting, innate design and artistic flair. Each gown is hand-made to exacting standards of workmanship.

My passion is to design and make garments for every woman that fits perfectly and enhances their natural attributes. When I see the joy and pleasure my gowns bring to customers it gives me an amazing feeling of satisfaction. My dresses are made-to-measure…creatively designed…and exclusively individual.”
